New African Woman Profiles Africa’s Leading Women in Business

In the current edition of the New African Woman magazine, there is a special focus on African women in business, under the theme, “Women Mean Business.” It is a project I am proud of because I had the great opportunity to interview some amazing women and discover others in the process of my research, who are doing great work. From Folunrusho Alakija (The Nigerian Oil tycoon) to Magatte Wade, a serial entrepreneur from Senegal, I was truly inspired. I hope you will all go out and get your copy. It is worth a read and we have to support our women, mothers, sisters and friends in their daily hustle to be the best as they inspire us with “Their Can Do Attitude.”

Be Inspired is all I can say.

African Women Mean Business: The Glass Ceiling Breakers

As more African women become active participants in the continent’s business and political landscape, while continuously pushing for gender parity in a still largely male-dominated world, their invaluable role in the continent’s growth is increasingly being acknowledged.

Magazine covers and some snippets of the interviews. I hope this encourages you to go and get your copy! 🙂
