I was thinking about you on my way home
I have no idea why but I truly wanted to give you a hug
And whisper in your ears that you are not flawed
You are you and I’m me, and while we work daily
To become better people
It does not mean I’m better than you or that you are better than me
Neither am I more superior in any form shape or way
We are equal, just different people
At different junctions
And right now, these junctions happen to be on different tangents
Which may or may not allow us ‘get it together’ as the future might bring pain if we don’t deal with the reality before us
But I want you to know that you are not flawed
Yes, we are fallible but you are not flawed
Everyday you are on your way to becoming a better you
And this you, the one I know, I love and appreciate
You are not flawed
