  1. I know Liberia extremely well and I think both countries have a lot to learn from each other. Liberia still has a looooong way to go by the way. The literacy rate is something like 20% and the country suffers from a high unemployment rate. The scars of war are still evident in the country and outside of Monrovia, the capital, there is nothing, absolutely nothing.

Oh yes, for sure, Liberia still has a long way to go…I simply admired the idea/concept of being able to give people a chance to say what they wanted…I never really saw that in Nigeria while growing up…maybe things are changing now but for me, it was looking at the country’s little steps and thinking, that’s not bad…
