Being the web and news addict that I have become, I stumbled across this news report from CNN’s Christian Purefoy a few days ago. A positive story but I could not get over the number of bullet holes on the walls and the number of lives they represent. This is certainly a good business venture because it empowers the women and they find their own value in the things they create and contribute to. How interesting that International Women’s Days is a few days away, this is one good example of what economic empowerment does after war, it gives women a voice to speak and be counted.
